FYI This past summer I made your whole purpose potting soil with all of the amendments that you recommended I have a whole recycle can full of all of it. It was rather pricey so it took me a while to gather it all together but by July a horrible month in coastal Louisiana I made it and my husband help me mix it all up. We repotted everything that stays outside not much grow and then I realized that I have to add fertilizer as soon as I started fertilizing everything really took off especially my macho fern on my rabbit foot phones. I’m going to make a few adjustments next year because I think it’s draining too quickly, But at the same time around here with all the rain we have our six weeks of dry out maybe it’s good that everything drained so quickly can’t wait till spring to see how all my potted plants outdoors I’ve had to respond to my new potting mix many thanks Rachel Williams that Ray’s Louisiana
