Hi William, thanks so much!! 🙂 And it’s true many of my wire mesh trellises have rusted which gives them a bit of a weathered look… but I do love it and it doesn’t pose any issues for the veggies or the soil. Great question though! Regards, Niki
]]>I have a question about the wire trellis in one of your photos. It seems to be a bit rusty so wondering if it might be of a concern that the rust (in the rain) would wash into the soil and be harmful to your plants, or humans when fruits/veggies are consumed?
Thanks…love your content!

]]>Hi, the opening of the arch should face north/south. Good luck! Niki
]]>Good question!! But unfortunately most vining plants climb up, not down. It’s called gravitropism and their tendrils go upwards. You could plant dangling plants there – like sweet potato – but climbers are probably not the best fit. Good luck! Niki
