The plants bloomed in April profusely , attracting our neighbor’s honeybees. It is the first week in June and I keep watching the seedbeds to harvest some for an acquaintance to propagate( she doesn’t live close enough to share a plant which would make propagation easy. My question is: 2 months after pollenization , could I harvest the seeds? If I wait, they may fall off the stalk. The seeds must be planted fresh but, of course, must be ripe. Thank you for any insight you may have. I agree it is a very lovely career and very versatile.

They need cold to germinate.

I have been searching for a seed source for greater than 3 years. I have a 30 ft by 4 foot bed. Buying plans from a nursery is not financially feasible. Any idea where I can purchase seeds? Thanks.
