Mine has grown like wild after only a year it’s nearly doubled in size. I’ve gen reading a lot about many different plants I have and started to wonder what type of pot would be best for this plant because I realized the I’ve it’s in has a very tiny hole for drainage. Yet it’s growing great I certainly don’t want to lose it!! Can you tell he your favorite?

I find that a certain percentage of the leaves on my fishbone cactus are spindly, too. I think it’s just the nature of the plant. I trim off any spindly ones, leaving only the thick ones to grow.

It is less than 3 years old but I put it outside (east side of house) for most of the summer. I live in Zone3/4; brought it inside about a week ago & saw large buds forming. The stems are about 3 feet long & very impressive plant!

I water when it’s almost completely dry. Don’t know how to get the stems thicker. Nice article thank you.
