The only thing to bloom so far is the few tulips I planted with a handful of daffodils. I have other seeds seeded. Have turned loose several mason bees got plenty of hotels hanging around for them, and clay if lol any return, I even skipped areas on lawn with tiny flowers blooming so they could find things to eat, Do I need to put out water area for them? I also have a block of hibernating leaf bees, I got all for my garden because nothing last year grew any veggies, I saw 1 butterfly last year no bees. This year a bumblebee and have caught a glimpse of the tiny bees, but they are so tiny and fast

I’ve changed over my entire flower garden to a pollinator garden. Many were pollinator-friendly nectar plants to begin with (false indigo, summer phlox, calamint) but now I’ve added beebalm, catmint, lavender, anemone, liatris, and Joe-Pye weed. I’ve also made strides to ensure nectar is available spring through fall!

This sounds like a great project this year. I have been thinking of planting flowers in a neighborhood garden. I could make it a study in pollinators.

I have seen many bees resting on these plants. So heart warming to see.

37°16′42″N 76°30′14″W – Hayes, Gloucester Co.
This lot is within 100 yards of Moore’s Cove – tidal meadow – on Broad Marsh Lane. I want pollinator-friendly flora on ~ 3,000 sq. ft. of road frontage [West-facing] and property-line [South-facing].
Which plants tolerate salinity?.
{Well-designed site; thank you}
